About Rebecca

Rebecca graduated with a First-Class degree in illustration from Birmingham’s Institute of Art and Design’ in 2003. Since graduating, she has worked as a professional illustrator, setting up her freelancing business in 2004. She has explored different avenues of work to expand her unique style; from fashion illustrations to children’s books – Rebecca wants to create beautiful pieces of art and takes her inspiration from the historic and cultural surroundings of her home in north west Wales.

Rebecca mostly works in mixed media – a mix of watercolour, pen and ink with dashes of vibrant colour and moody dark ink washes to create drama and narrative within her work. Rebecca has now branched out into Railway art and human portraits, as well as her popular equine paintings. She has worked for many blue-chip companies such as Debenhams, Seven Trent Water, Gloster Pottery, the Festiniog Railway Company and the Welsh Books Council.

Rebecca lives on a small holding in the Snowdonia National Park, with her Husband and their three children, horses, cats, chickens and dog.

Rebecca accepts a limited number of commissions every year and prices start at £250 for an A4 painting. Commercial Illustration is from £20 per hour.
